E-Zilla with Traxxas E-Maxx Diff parts
Important notice:
The Traxxas Revo Differential gears fit much better than the E-Maxx Differential gears. The clearance is better and no sanding is necessary at all!
The diff gears of the E-Zilla are a real big weakness. Hotbodies did not take to much care about stability when they were saving weight everywhere.
So, they made 5mm axles for the diff gears. They have drilled them, and flattend. So, a big amount of power is handled with a very thin cross section. So, I was looking for a more stable version and found a solution in its opponent Traxxas E-Maxx. They placed a 6mm axle for the same purpose.

As the ballbearings are not on the axle directly, it is not a big problem to adapt the diff case and the diff main gear to the 6mm axles. The main gear is really hard, so take your time to drill it and don't forget to cool down your drill as it will get hot soon. Use drill oil!

Now you can allready assemble the diff. Keep the original spiders from the E-Zilla as the Traxxas E-Maxx spiders are to big. Only put one shim, otherwise the gears will be blocked.

Now the diff seams to be really heavy duty. I allready drove 4 times with strong battery packs (3700mAh matched) and they didn't manage to break the diff gears as they did before easily.
You have to use of course also the first part of the E-Maxx driveshaft as the E-Zilla one will not fit the 6mm axle.
